FS Aikido Tube Preamplifier with Remote

Selling my Aikido tube preamplifier that served as my "reference" and has outlasted all other preamps - tube and SS. It looks and performs great.

The preamplifier uses Russian 6n1p - 6n6p tube pairs for quiet operation and low output impedance. These are great quality tubes that are also inexpensive and plentiful.

In addition to 2 switchable inputs the preamplifier has two outputs - each coming from a separate output stage with separate pairs of coupling capacitors: Output 1 - Russian PIO, Output 2 - Mundorf Supreme, - listener may select the output that is more to his liking. Use second output for head amp, or connect a subwoofer using Y-connector without converting the entire output of the preamp to mono.

Highest quality Allen-Bradley, Kiwame, Holco, TKD CM2, and Dale resistors.
Choke filtered power supply using Edcor and Hammond iron.

Remote controls the volume via motorized Alps Blue pot.

The sound of the preamplifier could be described as very detailed and musical, with excellent bass and high frequency extension. Absolutely noise free - no hum nor hiss at maximum volume.

Sweet, excellently done!   I'd be tempted, but my system has too much gain with passive.

Thanks. I also have ACF-2 which is a "no gain" version of Aikido preamp. Same construction minus two front tubes...
