I don't see a big deal here.

They are replacing it with a product called 'Kallax'.  Pretty much same dimensions. Will hold plenty of vinyl.

There won't be a 5x5 unit which is popular amount those with sizable collections. Not the end of the world, but not positive either.

I will withhold judgement until I actually see the Kallax.

Hi low.pfile and all Audio Circle members.
Look as if (from your link) the original Expedit is more sturdy than the new unit.
Unless the new unit is made of solid wood instead of honeycomb filled carton.
I could not find a picture on IKEA's website,
anyone have the picture so we can see better?
