Hi everybody.  It's been a while since I've sold anything but I finally found an amp (after about 4 years) to unseat my Primaluna P5.  (This is the original line, not the new one...Premium or whatever they're calling them.)  To be fair, the P5 sounds more than great but I made the mistake of putting some 6L6 tubes in it and I fell pretty hard for the sound.  So I went out and had a custom amp made just for my beloved 6L6s.

Anyway, the amp itself is in fantastic shape.  I would rate it a 7 or 8 because of age and because of two very slight blemishes that I took some pics of:

The first blemish is very hard to see even though it's on the top right edge of the transformer cover.  The camera flash makes it look worse than it really is.  The second nick is clearly from the previous owner (I'm the second owner) taking off or putting on the tube cage but when you've got power tubes in, you can't see it at all.  (I've never used the cage once but it is included.)

Functionally, the amp is perfect.  I've never had a second of trouble with it and it has performed extremely well with everything from KT88s to 6L6GCs.  Check out the many reviews of the P5 online...I think it was an Editor's Choice selection at Absolute Sound for a couple years in a row.  It's a very solid amp, both in sound and in construction - read: it's heavy as hell.  It's not coming from a pet-free home but my dogs are absolutely forbidden to use my electronics or pee on them so all should be well.

Here are a few more pics:

Also included (as shown in one of the pics) are some tubes.  Here is the lowdown:

1.) A quad of Mullard EL34s.  3 are new production and one *looks* like a vintage Mullard (the really good, really expensive kind) but I'm not enough of a tube guru to be able to verify that.  These came with the amp from the previous owner.
2.) A matched quad of TS 6550s.  I bought these and they have about 300-400 hours on them, estimated.  Good tubes.
3.) Stock PL 12AU7s and 12AX7s.  I used these for a little while - probably 100-200 hours - and they're OK.
4.) Matched pair of JAN GE 12AX7WAs.  I purchased these as NOS upgrades from Tube World and they are a bit of an improvement over the stocks.

The stock power cord is also in the original PL triple box with the bagged amp and cage:

All tubes will be shipped in a separate box for safety.  If you're curious about me, I have feedback over at Audiogon under the same nick - irishsammy.  I haven't used Agon for 12 months so it says I have zero feedback but if you look at my profile, you'll see the stuff from over 12 months ago.  Spoiler alert: It's all positive.   :green:

Thanks for looking and for reading all of this.  I guess you should be rewarded with the asking price.  :D  I'd like to get $950 shipped to anywhere in the continental US.  That would be insured, of course, and would include shipping for both the amp box and the tube box.  I prefer PayPal for payment but I can work with you if you don't want to pay the fee.
