dvd player with variable audio output

does anyone know of a dvd player that has direct volume control so you could connect it directly to an amp and still have control of volume?

Be careful that any volume control is done in the analog stage, as volume control done in the digital stage this way will most likely degrade the sound.

In addition, make sure that the volume does not default to full volume on power up as it does on a few CDP's.

the intended use would be in analog mode for now.. i've been having some real trouble finding models though
