I'm the original owner of this Dodd Battery-Powered Preamplifier (Rose wood).
This preamp is one of the newer units made that has deeper bass and all four batteries are supplying power 100% of the time which produces better dynamics.

The preamp looks beautiful and works flawlessly. I'm rating it an 8 because of age and some smears on the top mirror plating of the preamp.
I've used this preamp in my different solid state and tube systems very successfully in a smoke free, child free, pet free environment.
I'm supplying four brand new batteries that have never been used, purchased January 2014 (at my asking price) and a pair of Siemens CCa Gold Pin 6922/6DJ8 NOS (at my asking price) that are in excellent condition with only 100 hours of time on them.
Included in this sale is the original boxes, foam liners, manual, charging unit and remote. That's everything that came in the original purchase.
This preamp works very well and the only reason I'm selling it is because I moved up to an Allnic 3000-L preamp.
