Low output phono cartridge step-up transformer . .

Brand new still in the box Silvercore One to Ten moving coil cartridge step up transformer for sale. I bought this from the US distributor (it is German made) based on a review by Art Dudley in Stereophile and comments found online in England. However, I have a MM/MC phono amp and cannot use the Silvercore without it because my pre-amp is a line stage only.

If you have a pre-amp with a phono stage and require a means to step up a low output MC cartridge, this is for you. My cost was $765.00 plus shipping. I will consider any respectful offer. It is also very attractive and well built.

I have listened to this in my system, btw.  My phono pre has DIP switches on the back that let me do a number of things one of which is dial down its output.  So, I did and let the Silvercore do the heavy lifting.  It makes instruments sound more pure in my system- less electromechanical I guess you could say- and the music more beautiful.  If my pre-amp had a phono stage, I'd be keeping this and selling what I'm using now without a moment's hesitation.
