The tubes are the original Treasure series. The newer one from Shuguang are all stamped to be Treasures, but with varying quality. The original team left Shuguang and formed a new company.
A pair of KT88 can do 100w (music reference), it gets hot, but they are capable of it. Here we are running it extremely conservatively at 25w, with auto bias. They run very cool.They are very low hours ~200-300. It comes with a velvet boxes hosting the quad.
Also, I have use high sensitivities speakers from 93 - 97db with this amp and there are absolutely black background, no noise/hum nothing even when press against the drive. I have even hooked them up with my friend's custom horn-loaded system (105-108db), and there are no noise at all.
I very much prefer local pickup as they are heavy. And you can audition before purchase. A discount can be made for cash pickup at CA 91024.
