My 2013 ms st&t software has been running fine for months. Recently, I have myself unable to plug in an address and have the program search and place a pin on the map for me. It just keeps refusing to do so. This annoying behavior happened about the same time when my Windows 7 Pro PC started to spit out this error message, "Windows can't open this file.." whenever I clicked on a link embedded within an email. I sort of solved the latter issue by switching to Google Chrome from MS IE. But I am disappointed to find the above issue with the Streets and Trips map software still there.
Please help. If I need to repair the OS, is there a way to do so with all existing applications intact? I hate to have to re-install all of them, one by one. Maybe I would just re-install the map software?
