It is with much trepidation that I offer up for sale my Digital Amplifier Company Cherry Ultra stereo amplifier. ~20 months old and in perfect condition. I bought it in May 2013 after trading up from a DAC Cherry. This amp is truly unbelievable with gobs of power and a control of your speakers like you've never heard. The list of superlatives could go on and on but would only lead to the obvious question of why I'm selling...The answer is two-fold....First, its too much amp for my speakers and room. I have a modest sized living room and live in the city with neighbors on adjoining walls. My current speakers are monitors, SP Tech minis. They love endless power and control but it just seems like overkill and that I'm not using this amp to its fullest potential. Second, my listening space is non-ideal, requires a high WAF, and is devoid of room treatments. I've moved to a Lyngdorf system which allows digital EQing of my space to increase the "enjoyability" factor (read: dampen some annoying room nodes). Not the ideal solution but for this space, I think its the best...If money were no object, I'd keep and store the Cherry Ultra until I have a much better space/system to show off all of its virtues....
