Doesn't Gary have medical insurance? If he doesn't, why doesn't he sign up for Obamacare? The medical insurance companies can't refuse him because of preexisting conditions. Surely he should be able to have access to meds for free or with a small copay. A couple I know were paying $900/mo. for $3000 deductible private ins. but registered for Obamacare and now they're going to get much better coverage for ~$175/mo.

He has tried just about everything, and I'd rather not get into the political debates, and for that matter we can't do that here.

Because Texas will do anything it can to prevent ACA from succeeding.

Don't blame our state for the failures of that program. Gary has already perused this avenue and found it quite costly.

They have been working on that for a while now. He might see some assistance in that regard pretty soon. It is taking some time though.
