Would anyone know of a review of the DAC option in a B135, BP17 or BP26.  I know it hasn't got the resolution of my BDA-2 but in my quest to downsize, the DAC card could be an option.

The internal digital card in the preamps is limited to 96/24 and iy uses the same DAC's (Crystal) as in the BDA-1.

Thanks James.  I think there are just too many limitations... No Asynchronous USB, no AES, no Toslink when used in a BP-26, single output (Tape Out) vs single ended and balanced on the BDA-2, etc.

I don't want to throw the baby out with the bath water with my downsizing ideas.  I've at least obtained some manageable devices (Harbeth's vs. Maggies, 2.5B vs 4B amp).

Maybe someday I'll have to go with a B135 DAC and smaller Harbeths but I'm not there yet.
