I have a home built dual mono SDS 254 amp bridged 500 watts into 8 ohms, seems like alot of people have
moved from these to the N Core modules, but doing some research I have read some comments that the D Sonic
might be a step up from the N Core, anybody compare the two. Looking at this pair for sale:

not to keen on the color though

D Sonic M3-800S

Also a contender is the Job 225 which I would have
to order from over seas, which I would not prefer, lower
power, also I like to leave my amp on all the time and it seems like the
Job runs warm and uses more wall current

Budget under 2k, Dood tube buffer, Joseph Audio RM25XL speakers

Thanks,
JT

A Job 225 is for sale here on audiocircle right now, I don't know the seller but hey, he can't be a bad guy, after all he is a member.
