Maybe those who visited the booth have digital photos that Wayne can use?

The computer was bought in April. There is not too much tech change since then. Theanks for the words of encouragement though, Jay

Johnny, I wished I had the camera to send you photos of the gear. DeadFish and Zybar did take some shots. I hope they turned out.

Is it just my perception or does the face of the RM30's angle back a few degrees?

Thank you, Tyson.

Josh,

The tilt in the photos is because of the wide angle of the lens Tyson used. The front of the 30's are straight up and down, 90 degress to the floor.

As always, the system was sounding very good in Wayne's booth on sunday afternoon.  I just wanted to say thanks to Wayne for a couple of things,  having Big B. by my home and one of Bolder's latest products.

The RM40s have never sounded better, thanks to Brian C.  He does know how to extract the very best from his speakers.

When he says SMALL amounts of putty, he means small amouts of putty.  His delightful wife Shirely was helping him and after 6 or 7 trips to each speaker I was floored to find that only a pea size piece was removed and boy did it clean up the midrange and help the bass definition.  Note, it was how it was removed.  Just a sliver of putty under the nail...not a thumbnail!

I am listening to Wayne's latest interconnect, a pair I purchased at the show.  WOW!  Ther Nitro and Nitro Bybee versions are excellent, but the new wire is better than anything else I have heard in my system.  Placed between Denon and preamp it is a definite step up.  I agree completely with Tyson's evaluation.

The show was great fun.  Sorry to hear about your daughter's  laptop.  Guess I will have to buy another pair of interconnects :D

Thanks for your comments, Jerry.

BIG THANKS for helping with boxing up the speakers and taking Brian and Shirley to the airport.

I did manage to find and rescue yours and mike's hyper expensive LPs but I couldn't keep my eye on the laptop

I have two more pair of the ICs right here with your name on them

That will help pay for at least part of the new laptop.

Man, that really sucks about your laptop and camera.  I hate thieves, I think they should all be shot...

Wayne,

A big public thanks for the cartridge!  It's guys like you that make this industry great.

To fill the rest of you in - I lost a cartridge in shipping for my backup table.  Discovered it during show setup on Thursday.  That night, both Wayne and Mike G. ran home and scoured their labs for a spare.  Wayne came through.  Friday by showtime I was up and running analog (hey, I'm a phono kinda guy).  Only played one CD track the entire show.  Everything else ran fine, and every electron passed through a Bolder cable.

jh :)

Wayne,

Just got back in town and read of your laptop and camera dilema.

If it is helpful, you might check your credit card companies policies (assuming you purchased with cc) since some will replace lost or stolen goods purchased throught them with a "buyers protection plan".

Wayne,

I feel for you.  There is nothing more discouraging than having things stolen.   I wish I could be of help.

Thanks for all the good thoughts, guys.

I waited until Friday to see if anyone might have picked up the gear by mistake and brought it home with them. No word, so I went and bought my daughter a new laptop and a new digital camera. I will see what my insurance company has to say on Monday.
