Free! Online Course: Critical Listening for Studio Production

I was just informed about this course through my local audio club (Southeast Michigan Audio Club, or SMAC). It starts tomorrow and runs for seven weeks, offered through the Queen's University in Belfast. Intended for studio engineers and musicians, but clearly has some application to us audiphools. Should be interesting.

Perhaps the Critic's Circle would be more apropos forum to post, but it is FREE so it clearly fits with Cheap and Cheerful!

Here is another free online class that may be of interest.
"Fundamentals of Audio and Music Engineering: Part 1 Musical Sound & Electronics" offered by the University of Rochester via Coursera.

Really interesting first week of class... especially all the practice questions requiring you to identify certain frequencies or frequencies that had been filtered out. It's not as easy as you think it might be. Great for "tuning" your ears
