Magnepan 1.7s - SOLD

Not mine but somebody should grab these.
They're in Mass. and I know the owner.  I think he's lost his marbles.

Up for sale are my Magnepan 1.7s. Black cloth grill with Dark Cherry siding. Bought them about 14 months ago; used for maybe 6 months. Condition 9/10 since there might be some dust on them somewhere. No smoking/pets/children environment. Nice speakers but I found I liked my AR-90s better. I have the original box so I can ship them. I paid $2200 for them but will let them go for $1200 plus shipping. I'm located in MA if you want to hear them first or pick them up.

I don't think they'll be around too long.
I have no affiliation with the seller, I'm just helping him get some more exposure and unless you have 200 posts on thecarversite you couldn't see his ad or contact him so I'll play middleman.
It looks like the speakers he's getting are really wild: some sort of monster Infinity four speaker set up with two columns of ribbons and two columns of woofers. 
I guess he likes a lot of bass!

Just sent you a PM.  The deal is working out great so far.  Haven't got them yet but your friend has been very accommodating about extra packing (double boxing).

Must be the Infinity RS-1b.
