I hang my head in shame that I watched this whole movie.   :duh:

I had not read any reviews, but liked the cast and figured it might be fun.

Ick, what a hard story to like.  I think the only redeeming thing about this movie is that it is based on some measure of truth.  I am glad that no one spent any time dreaming this up, that is for sure!

Hi,

I hired this movie the other day because I've always enjoyed Mark Wahlberg's movie but this one was a bit of a stinker.  It became quite ridiculous in the end and I wouldn't recommend this movie to anyone.

It started out good, and funny, but went off the rails in the really dark second act.  Overall I thought it was okay with good performances but I don't think they really knew what kind of story they were trying to tell.

:D  I actually liked this one.

It was completely absurd...  but it happened?!?

Really?   :o

no, really?  :o :o :o

Dwaine Johnson gave a brilliant performance, IMO

absolutely loved the "reminder" in the middle...  I was losing interest up to that point (my wife gave up and left 10 minutes earlier).  But, after that I had to laugh at the sheer ridiculousness of the whole thing.  You really can't make up a story like this.

more than anything this movie reminded me that there are some seriously sick, twisted, and just plain dumb people out there.

I was entertained by it until I read about the actual events and victims, and I've felt awkward about it ever since.

I have to admit that I was impressed with the range the Rock showed....didn't know he had that in him.

It should have been better, somehow.

Michael bay did a different job (as opposed to action movies like transformers) but still good with this movie. Story is funny, with a great line of actors.
