Since our two new models were not ready in time, we had no real reason to attend CES this year. We're in the middle of building a massive run of huge speakers, including one pair of VR-111XS (6 towers, $500,000) which are a few months behind schedule due to careful but slow vendors and subcontractors, so our time is at a premium.
Many high end audio companies don't like the Venetian Hotel for a myriad of reasons and we've heard that CES has become less relevant to companies who believe that the regional shows for consumers has become a better value for everyone concerned; our company agrees.
