AC Powerline product recomendations sought

My system is listed here:
http://www.audiocircle.com/index.php?action=systems;system=376

I currently have 6 power cords in my system and I have one dedicated 20 amp circuit to power the entire thing.
I run my amp straight into the wall duplex and the other outlet is filled with Panamax Coax-6 line conditioner of which I use five of six outlets.

I want to get the Panamax piece out of my system.

So what I am needing is something that doesn't limit dynamics, has at least 6 outlets, a power cord of 3' to 4', and costs around the $500 level (less is better).

I am currently leaning towards the Furutech ePT-60 with a VenHaus Flavor 4 PC for about $400, but wanted to throw this out and get some other user experiences and recommendations.

Thanks.

Since you already mentioned Chris...

Why not get (2) Hot Boxes?

This gives you a little room to grow as well as not screwing up the sound.

I can't think of anything better for under $500 new or used.

That's an excellent solution to your need. And Wayne'll build it how you want it. So if you'd care to upgrade the male plug to something like a Furutech Rhodium plug (highly recommend doing so), not a problem.

And it'd still be waaaaay under $500

Zybar,
Do you plug your amps into them?

Or I should say, would you have plugged you Kora Cosmos amps into them?

I ran my amps into the Hot Boxes and didn't notice any dofference between plugging them into the wall and into the Hot Boxes (which is the best you can hope for with a product like this).

I did notice a VERY BIG difference when I put in the BPT 3.5 Signature conditioner.  Of course that's not comparing apples to oranges...

Anyway, I haven't used Wayne's products yet (he will be modifying my Panny RP-91 dvd player very soon), but he has an excellent reputation just like Chris.  I am not sure what Wayne's return policy is, but Chris offers 60 days to return the Hot Boxes.  This allows you to test things for a good amount of time in your own system before deciding on what to do.

Best of luck.

Very nice system.

How do you like the preamp?  At one time I thought about getting one, but just never pulled the trigger...

I love the preamp!

When I first got it I took it to two local dealer's places and we did some shoot-outs.  One dealer couldn't best it and at the other dealer, we didn't best it until we got to his top of the line stuff like Air Tight and Boulder, at both places we were testing via the phono input, so usually the competition was using an external phono stage.  It was a quite impressive display.  Add this with excellent build quality and the fact that Don Hoglund has been a very good company owner to work with and you have a big time winner in my book.

With the Bolder powerstrip, has anyone had experience with the piece with and without the Bybees?  What do the Bybee's add to the mix?  I have heard of HF blunting, is this true or a bad rumour?

Ok so they don't roll off high frequencies.

But what do they add to the sound?
Hyped up detail? More laid back?

IN the signal path it is hard to predict how they will sound.  Sometimes they get rid of grunge and smooth things out allowing micro details to emerge and sometimes they rob the music of life, mainly by appearing to roll off the highs.

I have loved them in some situations and hated them in others.

Having said that, in the case of them being on the AC mains and not in the audio path, I would guess that they would just remove grunge you didn't know you had.
