Questions regarding B60
« on: 30 Dec 2013, 04:31 pm »
Hi folks!

I would like to know a few things about the B60 integrated amplifier:

1) Is B60 part of the SST^2 family or not?
2) Is B60 essentially a BP-6 preamplifier and 2B power amplifier in one chassis?
3) How good is the optional MM phono preamplifier considering it demands significant premium (around 800 Euro in Europe)?
4) Is there a successor to the B60 that is planned?

Cheers!

Hi

1. The newest version is SST2
2. Correct
3. The MM stage is the same as the one in the BP26.

Okay, thanks!

But how do I differentiate the SST2 version from the ones that are not? Is it written on the front of tha amplifier or the back?

Cheers!

If it has the C-Series cosmetics then it is the newer version
