Selling a pair of Wyred 4 Sound SX 500 monos. These are rated at 250 watts @ 8 0hms and 500 watts @ 4 ohms. They have been great performers for my Acoustic Zen Adagio speakers but now find myself curious to try tube amps.
The listed price is for both amps and the condition is 8/10 due to me not being the original owner. The pictures posted are of the actual units and as you can see they are in excellent shape. Just a little more info on the amps, they have switchable input buffer which is awesome. If the switch is set to on, the amps have a input impedance of 100kohms which is great for any tube pre amp. When set to off the input impedance is 10kohms which in my experience sounds the best when using low output impedance solid state preamps. The differences between on and off is not subtle even when using low impedance SS preamps. In my mind that makes these amps a bit more versatile than Wyred's new amps which have a factory set 64kohm input impedance buffer.
