Synergy 450 vs Fet Valve 400

I recently ordered a Synergy 450 but I'm thinking of changing the order to the Fet Valve 400R . The amp will power a pair of Magneplanar 1.7. What would the Fet Valve 400R bring to the table to justify the $700 extra ?

I would suggest that the Fet Valve 400R is an outstanding Magnapan amplifier. It is capable of slightly better energy in transients and deep bass sock then the Synergy amps and Magnapans can use all of this possible.

I have Magnepan 1.7s and use an AVA 400R and highly recommend it.
