Has anyone heard this combo yet?  Bought them for my wife as a second system. Personally, I've always been a tube guy but the pairing was tried out by the Zu guys and the put out a combo package for Black friday. Haven't received mine yet.

I haven't heard that combo, but have heard the Omen Full Range Driver (FRD) with many amps.  It will sound good.  Upgrade the tweeter crossover and it will sound really good.  You can either work with the Zu guys to swap tweeter assemblies to get the better caps & resistors or DIY it.  Either way it's well worth the $$ and effort.

I personally think the non-nano Omen driver is the best sounding iteration of Zu's FRD platform.  Pair it with a world class compression tweeter and the results are pretty astonishing.

No it's definitely not.  Cheerful for sure, but not under the Cheap guidelines.  However, the thread could be moved to either Solid State or Enclosures as both speakers and amps are included here.  Why don't we let the OP decide, we are the friendly, cheerful circle after all.  Dentdog, do you want your thread moved to the speaker circle or the equipment circle?  (I'm leaning toward the speaker side)  I'll check in later today.

Okay, no response, so off to Enclosures it goes.
