Hello, I plan on building 3 DC cables 2 12v and 1 5v(all about 3' length) to go between my SOTM PS and a CAPS audio computer, SOTM USB card and LDR. My question is: should I use a copper braided shield on these cables? I was going to use 24ga solid silver for the signal and 22ga for the ground - both in individual teflon tubes and then the copper shield covered by some techflex. Is the shield needed and if so do I connect it to the DC barrel plugs on one end/both ends or not at all?
