Do you also mod the KLH systems?

BTW, one of the Ht rags did a goof feature on pawn shop & el cheapo rigs, and they said that surprisingly the Durabrand didn't blow chunks as bad as they figured it would.  Not a ringing endorsement, but maybe enough to justify $2k in mods! :P

That is currently under development.  It is very hard to improve upon that unit because of the already extraordinary build quality, and high-quality parts.

Well I won't even consider mods if you can't at least come up with a $2,500 package.  Gotta have some audiophool cred, after all.

Just add wood knobs and ebony feet and you can break $3K!!

That should be the ticket to instant respectability.

The highs in the KLH greatly benefit from the addition of Tritium caps.  You might get a warm glow coming off them, but that's a small price to pay for the angelic sound!

All kidding aside, I casually know of that factory in China that makes the Durabrand stuff...they are huge and we won't be laughing at their stuff in 4-5 years if momentum keeps carrying them forward.

Much as we all laughed at Samsung, and Panasonic before them....
