My lovely wife allowed me to splurge on a new 60 inch plasma for the upstairs living room.  We also needed a place to put things.  I grabbed a few pictures from things I liked and put this together over the weekend with some staining help.  73 inches wide, 28 tall and 20 deep.  Drawers for stuff to hide and a couple open spots for cable box, Bluray player, and other things.  Comes out cheaper than buying at a big box store for sure.

That'll work, it definitely looks sturdy enough.

It leaves about 4 inches on each side of the tv.  I used ply and instead of hardwood edges, I taped the veneer to save time and money.  I only have a dvd player to hide and i'll fill the drawers with junk I would assume.  Bob, did your little carpenter get everything finished and set up in her room?

Nope..... 
Life has kept us out of the workshop. I wired them up to my system just to hear what they sound like though (there's a photo).
This weekend is wide open, so there should be a BUNCH of photos coming soon.
