I was back in MN visiting family and made my usual stops at the MPLS-St. Paul vinyl emporiums. My favorite is Root Cellar, as they have the best selection and good prices. Anyway, all of their LP's that are normally $2 each are now just .50 for the month of August!!!!! Needless to say, I went crazy buying 50LP's for $25 and toting all of them back on the plane for NYC.
For those who don't know, Root Cellar is located on Snelling Avenue very close to Hamline University. Root Cellar has it's big .50 cent sale twice a year for the months of August and March. Enjoy!!!
BTW, out of the 50LP's I bought, only one has had groove damage. I still have to play about 10 more, but I'm super satisfied. Vinyl RULES!!!
