I don't know how many AC members subscribe to audioXpress but this months issue has part 1 of an article from a guy using a digital signal processor for his crossovers and room correction.

It's called the Signal Wizard and the website is located here: http://dias.umist.ac.uk/PAG/signalwizard.htm

Pretty interesting device. No idea of costs but there's certainly not much to it.

Anyone have any additional information on this?

It's a little over $900.

Don't know if you'd consider it expensive or not...

Thanks for the link Randy. I did a search on diyaudio but I searched for Signal Wizard and of course the post had signalwizard. doh!

I don't know if this it any better than other available solutions such as the Behrniger or DBX stuff but thought it looked interesting. Certainly a pretty good chunk of cash to expend just to experiment with it. I'm looking forward to the next issue of audioXpress to see the results of the authors work.
