I've been playing around with different software like Audirvana (trial-but I want it), VLC, Foobar and Winamp. It has been a long time since I watched a spectrum analyzer. Now that I have been playing with Foobar i realize how wrong my perceptions of where the majority of music or sounds are in the 20-20k frequency range.
Makes ME wonder if this is why I love bookshelf speakers that are maybe a bit forward in mid range? Probably not, but interesting.
