Favorite Christmas show or special?

What is your favorite Christmas show or movie? Mine is Peanuts. Snoopy is an all-time fav. Guess it just appeals to the kid in me. Second is National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation.

Favorite has to be Christmas Vacation. Second would be A Christmas Story.

"Polar Express" has to be my favorite. It's a great old fashion type story without being "PC". It also has some great low frequency effects for your subwoofer.

But speaking of being old fashion, I'd say that "The Peanuts", "Christmas Story", and "Christmas Vacation" are up there very high.

Christmas Vacation, Christmas Story, Elf, Peanuts, Rudolf (the stop motion animated version, of course), and A Garfield Christmas (which is actually a very heart warming cartoon) are all great. If I had to chose one, CV is probably my overall favorite. I'm a big fan of classic comedies and Chevy Chase.

A Christmas Carol; the original & several of the remakes, & Scrooged. One of Bill Murray's best imo.

It's A Wonderful Life..The original is good, but the HD version is off the charts great!

Personally, I like Elf. Our kids like Frosty the Snowman and The Grinch Who Stole Christmas, but Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer is a bit scary for them.

One of the worst I've ever seen (nothing else on TV and I had to have a TV 'fix' while the generator was running last week during our ice storm/power outage) was NBC's special 'Kelly Clarkston's Cautionary Christmas Musical Tale'. Stupid background story being narrated throughout, her acting was bad, her series of red outfits were most unbecoming (showing her as being pale, fat, and flat), and she sang too loud (pushed past the point she sounds good, which she certainly can).

If that show didn't kill her career (ironically the premise of the show was an effort to improve her popularity), I don't know what could.
