Audio Advisor has the Audioquest Dragonfly 1.0 on closeout for $99.

Great deal, good deal or obsolete given the current state of technology?

I just saw the Magnolia's inside of Best Buy are running the same deal.

If I wanted a small USB dac, seems like a contender.  Read some good things about it.

I have one and for $99 it's a no-brainer. It's also very small and the portability part of it is really cool and makes a huge improvement IMO even when listening with cheap headphones, laptop and Pandora.

I bought the first gen about two months ago, and even having paid $200 for it, I'm very satisfied. With that said, I'd pay $150 for the new v1.2 vs $99 for the first gen unless I was on a very tight budget.
