FS: Selah Tempesta

I bought a Selah Tempesta kit from Rick some time back, got busy with other things, and it sat a while.  I finally put the kit together 6-9 months after it was purchased and ran them for maybe 200hrs.  In the time the kit sat in the box I completely changed my setup to lower power tube amps so that's why I went with higher efficiency speakers.  The speakers are in very nice condition.

I built the kit using the Parts Express rectangular version of the cabinets Rick uses because I simply prefer the look of "box" cabinets.  The cabinets are piano black and the baffles are done in black DuraTex speaker cabinet coating (a durable textured finish).  The baffles were cut on my home CNC machine and look pretty good.  The insides of the cabinets are fully lined in the same deadening material that Rick used.  The only thing I did different is I soldered on all the terminal connections with Cardas silver solder instead of using the push on connectors.

SOLD!

Very nice job on these speakers, the Tempesta is an excellent speaker and I doubt they will last too long, good luck with your sale.

If I was in 'Frisco, I'd give them a hard look. For that price they are an unbeatable speaker.

I looked at the original cabinet boxes and think they should be OK for shipping.  The foam inserts are pretty decent.  I updated the ad to reflect that I will ship the speakers at your cost (not the stands though).

Now that you've sold your standmounts I'd like to hear your comparisons- Selah vs. Vapor vs. Daedalus. It would make interesting reading.

That's not really possible since each of these speakers was used on an entirely different system.
