Hello fellow VMPSrs. I am curious if any of you are using 626's as your rear surrounds and if so what you are doing to hang them on the wall.

Maybe a little extreme...but man that seems really cheap!

If you go with TV brackets you may want trim the ~ 16" wide VESA TV mounting bracket to closer match the ~ 10" width of the 626s.  Of course the 17"W wall mount bracket portion wouldn't be totally hidden, but it would still have a cleaner look if the speaker brackets themselves didn't extend beyond the speaker.

The 626s have ribbons and I'm not sure you can run them horizontally without rotating the ribbons due to what might be extremely limited horizontal dispersion.  ???

How far away from the wall should the speakers be mounted? Maybe I can place some sound dampning material behind the ports to help.

I use a simple small TV mount which has single swivel arm underneath the platform, and it is quite adequate for a 626.  Don't recall the brand, but it was bought from a high st department store, so is nothing special.
