Have you read about the Westminster Royals as reviewed by Harvey "Gizmo" Rosenberg on his website Meta-Gizmo.net,  and Jeff Day on Positive Feedback Online? The WR's
are fully horn-loaded and in another league, nothing slight about it. I like Sonus Faber and don't mean to criticize...  The SF's will sound good and look great, but the Tannoys
will startle you for life!
Are you able to audition each? Please let us know. :D

Hey!

I've never heard the big Westminster but have heard smaller one of their Prestige series the Turnberry. Haven't heard the Amati Futura either but have heard smaller Sonus Faber before.

Very different type of speakers between those two. But I have to say that the smaller Tonnoy Turnberry with tube amp, they were one of the most enjoyable speaker I've heard. They did a great job of reproducing music at an emotional level. With that said I have to say that if I had money and space I will seriously consider the Westminster. There's something special about those big Tannoy.

Anyway, that's is just my opinion. :D

Take care,

+1 There's really no comparison. The Tannoys are among the VERY best regardless of price.

I haven't had the chance to audition the Westminster but did the Amati. Amati sounds great. I auditioned the Kingdom Royals and those are incredible speakers in a different league.
