here is a .8MV output Benz Glider that has just received a new line contact stylus from Andy at Cartridge Retip Services. Stock boron cantilever is still in place. Good condition, some very slight pin pricks in the finish on the the nose next to the cantilever. very difficult to see, but thought I would mention them to present the cartridge in properly. Cantilever is straight and properly centered.
Installed it on an Eminent Technology II tone arm to verify condition. Played 5 albums last night, and it sounded wonderful, very quiet in the groove, and excellent tracking. Has that nice blend of warmth, texture, and detail Benz is known for.
Price is $500.
Great cartridge for the money. Benz seems to have closed off their distribution to the US market, so this is a great opportunity to pick up one of their most popular cartridges. Sorry for the pictures, the camera is not the best. But you should be able to see overall condition and verify the alignment of the cantilever.
