I have a KEF LS50 monitor speaker on my desktop which I got on Audiogon for $1100 ($1500 new on Amazon). It is an incredible monitor. I run it with an Parasound Halo A23 which I got on ebay for $500. I was looking at the Bryston B60 for the LS50 but the Parasound was much cheaper for my desktop needs. I compared the Parasound with my Bryston PowerPac 300's at moderate listening levels on my Thiel SCS4's and it was not close. The 300's are way better. So I would be inclined to think that the B60 is also better than the Parasound. Whatever, the case the KEF sounds great and would sound even better with better components. It is an excellent speaker for a small space, preferably near-field listening. I will keep these speakers on my desktop for as long as they last.
