AC DISCOUNT $800 $700!!!This amp has served me well, mostly in my Office system; I've paired it with a number of speakers. Harbeth P-3s, Monitor Audio RX-1s, Rega RS-1s, KEF LS-50s. They all sounded damn sweet, when paired with the little Cayin.
Just for kicks...I even put it in my Main room (driving Harbeth Compact 7s), when I was re-modeling my Office; and it sounded better than ever...with the additional breathing-room, and being fed by my SBT/Mytek front-end.
I won't carry on too much, about the M-6s sound here. PM me, and we'll talk some shop. It's rated 10+10 (which is crap; at least it certainly sounds more powerful...and I think I read somewhere, with like JJ tubes...someone measured closer to 22-25wpc), based on (4) 6V6 tubes...in an AB1 push-pull configuration. Glass guys love 6V6 tubes, and after spending good time with this M-6...I can see why. Think it's just hype...this 6V6-based Shindo, just flew off Audiogon for almost $5k

The build quality on this is flat-out ridiculous. It's got a small footprint; but is sooo heavy...it's like carrying around a 50LB bowling-ball. Speaks well of the power-supply...which is specially manufactured for Cayin.
Kinda of a quirky looking unit; but it has its charm. Like I said...I loved it from the start; and can't believe, when I dropped it back in to my Office system (to make sure everything was working and shoot some pics for the ad...how well it pushed around my KEF LS-50s; and that on the heels of the Hegel H-80...I wanted for nothing!)
Hard to find a ton of info on this rare beast; but I've seen it "retailed" for around $1900 new. I paid $1,000, and am its second, meticulous owner. All it did, was sit quietly and do its thing in my Office. So it looks the same, as when I got it. I'm asking for $900, after s&h, PayPal (if necessary), etc.
Original box, remote; gloves. All included, as new out of the box. All EH tubes; new from original owner (who says it responds very well to NOS). Perfect and long-standing feedback on Audiogon (where it is also listed); buy with confidence.
