I haven't decided yet on software but will probably try jriver.  will I be able to play dsd files with only 4 gb ram on my macbook air?

I have a macbook thats around 4 years old I think.

It has 4gb and can play dsd with jriver.

I have a late 2008 13" macbook I am using for music.

At some point, I upgraded the memory to 4g

I have also upgraded to OS to the latest, just did the last upgrade a few days ago.
