The Panasonic SA-XR70 is not out at this time. I have no idea what it will be like.
No one else does yet or will until they have had the unit for at least a month. It does take at least that long for a stock unit to break-in.
From my own experiences, the SA-XR45 is the best sounding unit that has been released from Panasonic so far.
All of them are direct digital, but the power supply design and method of controlling the volume favor the SA-XR45.
With the full mods, it can be compared to some of the best separates for HT use.
