Selling my Totem Acoustic Model 1 monitors and Target stands. Bought it a year ago from a local Audiogoner.
These are very nice monitors that will surprise you with their imaging and surprising bass extension. Built with very high quality parts - Dynaudio drivers, WBT binding posts.
Asking price: $450 (both speakers and stand)
Strongly prefer local Chicago pickup (I live in Evanston).
I don't have boxes for the speakers or stands.

http://www.stereophile.com/standloudspeakers/820/Condition: Speakers function perfectly. Cabinet shows wear. One speaker has a crush about 2" long in the middle of the top edge. Up close, there is light surface scratching which doesn't break through the black finish to the wood. Some light veneer splits here & there. However, there are no major issues either with the cabinetry (besides the surface stuff I just mentioned), and the drivers and electronics work perfectly. If you are willing to overlook the surface blemishes, you will be able to enjoy really good sound from a well made speaker, especially when paired with the right amp.
The Model 1 was retailing for $1500 new, and the upgraded Model 1 Signature model retails for $2000 new.
I'm also including the stands which the previous seller told me were Target stands. They are heavy and sturdy, and are sand filled, and fit the speakers perfectly. The stands alone would be worth $100 for a used pair like mine at the very least.
Reason for selling: Need to replace monitors with floorstanders as I have a baby and don't want to risk the speakers falling on the baby.
