FS: Grado GS1000i Headphones *Canceled"
« on: 26 Oct 2013, 05:09 am »
I've finally hit the point where I need to sell a pair of my best headphones since I have a few too many. These Grado GS1000i headphones are less than one year old. They were purchased locally here in Atlanta and I am the only owner. I think I may still have the original packing, I'll have to check my storage locker this weekend. If not, they will be professionally packed and shipped to ensure safe travel.

These headphones were $999 new, so I'm asking $699 shipped.

They are nicer looking in person than they are in pics, and they are extremely light. Most people prefer the larger circumaural pads that these headphones come with as opposed to the on-ear pads on several of their other popular models. I will also include a 1/4" to 1/8" adapter if you'd like.

Please note, Grados can be driven by just about anything, but as the GS1000i is near their top of the line, they really benefit from a headphone amp. This model offers a wider sound stage than the other Grado models (except maybe the flagship PS1000) along with that airy top end.

Here is a recent pic...the Grados are the headphones in the top right of the image:

LOL!

I had such a hard time trying to figure out which Grado I was going to offer up for sale...still not sure I made the right decision! I just know that I need to find them a good home, cause they're too nice of a headphone to not get the proper attention. I've only got two ears, though  :D

I"m going to be listing these on my Amazon seller account in the next few days, so figured I'd give my fellow AC'ers a quick price drop to entice...

I'll let them go for $619 shipped until midnight EST on Tues 10/29...then I'll close the ad.

Thanks!
