I am selling a brand new, unopened SLP 05. I bought it last Sunday, 13 October 2013, received it on Friday, 18 October 2013, directly from Cary Audio Design LLC in Apex, North Carolina. On Wednesday, 16 October 2013, I also bought a DEQX HDP-4 with USB. So I've decided to sell the new, unopened SLP 05.
If using PayPal, add 3% to the purchase price.
Cary Audio Design LLC warranties are not transferable. Therefore there is no Cary Audio Design LLC warranty with this purchase.
The purchase at my Asking Price plus Shipping and Insurance however will also include a 3-month (90 days) electronics only limited warranty covering parts and labor which shall begin on the day that the SLP-05 is received by you and shall be the date indicated as the Delivered Date on the shipper's delivery receipt. Defects in workmanship are not covered. You will be responsible for all shipping costs. All tubes are also warranted for 90 days. The terms of the warranty are spelled out in the Cary Audio SLP 05 Owner's Manual excepting the duration of warranty term which is limited herein to 90 days for the SLP 05 and 90 days for its nine tubes and excepting defects in workmanship. Read especially the section: What is Covered and What is Not Covered.
How this shall work: Cary Audio Design LLC shall perform all repair work. Cary Audio Design LLC shall indicate on the repair receipt/invoice either (1) A Carry Audio Design LLC Warranty would have covered this repair or (2) A Cary Audio Design LLC Warranty would not have covered this repair because _________________________________. Cary Audio Design LLC shall assume for the purpose of identifying condition (1) or (2) above that you are the original owner of the SLP 05 and that you bought it directly from Cary Audio Design LLC.
When I receive a verifiable copy of the repair receipt/invoice with (1) above indicated excepting the duration of warranty term which is limited herein to 90 days for the SLP 05 and 90 days for its nine tubes and excepting defects in workmanship, I shall reimburse you for the repair including parts, labor and applicable sales taxes, if any. You upon receipt of the repaired SLP 05 with (1) indicated and without the aforementioned exceptions shall mail me a copy of the repair receipt/invoice and I shall, upon verification with Cary Audio Design LLC, reimburse you within 10 business days by check.
If you make an offer which is less than the Asking Price above plus Shipping and Insurance and I accept your offer then there shall be no warranty. The SLP 05 shall then have been sold to you "as is" with no expressed warranty and no implied warranty.

The matching ‘chassis size’ external power supply comes with 5AR4 vacuum tube voltage rectification and has two front panel meters for the circuit voltage and the current bias readings. The SLP 05 has a timer warm up circuit that allows safe use with “rapid turn on” solid state power amplifiers. The headphone power amplifier, using two 6SN7 octal vacuum tubes, is coupled through audio transformers to produce 1/2 watt per channel to drive your favorite high quality headphones.
