I've been keeping an eye out for a machinist's box or jewelry box.  Machinist boxes are expensive and I haven't found the right size and "looking" jewelry box, ie not pink. lol.

They do sell display boxes or containers with clear plastic tops to store your carts.  The ones I've seen are designed to accommodate carts mounted on headshells which may or may not be convenient.   They're expensive too.

Cigar boxes are a better alternative for me.  Some cigar shops sell them for a couple of dollars.  I thought they would smell bad but it's really not bad at all.  You can wipe them out with a damp cloth with disinfectant and they smell like lemon.  Some have latches and some have dividers already inside.

I happened to go onto Sears.com a couple of years ago and saw this box on clearance sale:

http://www.amazon.com/Gerstner-GI-510-Mini-Max-Chest/dp/B004CC4DLE/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1381504610&sr=8-2&keywords=gerstner+mini

They were $20 each!  I bought 3 of them.  They are well worth $20 each but absolutely not $130 each.  They're made in China now.

My Dynavector 507 MkII arm has the bayonet style headshells. In turn, I made a little shelf where I can store my assortment of cartridges, counterweights, stylus cleaning fluid and a few other vinyl goodies. It's mounted right above my table.
