For sale or trade is a pair of recently reviewed by Stereo Times ; Sonic Hemisphere Fidelity One speakers now built by Black Moon Audio in Palatine, IL.

This pair is about 18 months old which were made before changing the name to Black Moon Audio. They are currently at Black Moon for checkup and display so you can go to hear them in the setup right at their location.

The biggest issue is shipping as these would be much more costly as they need new custom built wood crates, and of course the transit cost with freight company on top of that.

These are in the Rosewood finish, they have one small finishing flaw on the top of one cabinet, you can't even see it, but they will show you.

So local pickup only which works out best if you have a trade to bring, and you get to hear these incredible speakers.

Partial cash plus trade can work as well.

These are updated to the newest crossover components with full Bi-Wire, and port tuning to match identical to the Black Moon Audio current versions see website.

MUST HEAR! Considering any type of good audio gear in trade. Looking for really good phono cartridges, turntables, amps, preamp's, receivers.

These were 5750.00 new for the pair, they also have the Terrastone feet by edenSound installed which cost 95 each and the pair takes 8 terrastone's total as seen in the information on the website.

You get it all, looking for 1000.00 each on trade or partial cash plus trade to meet the value at 2000.00 for the pair.

Please contact Black Moon Audio with the contact information available on the website.

You can see the newest reviews and testimonials also on :

Thanks for looking and responses to this AD will be replied to as well.

I've seen these speakers in person and have listened to them on two occasions.  They are EXCELLENT sounding, and a bargain at full retail price.  For the $2K asking price, you will not find a better deal on full range speakers.  I'm not sure you will find a better sounding speaker for $5K.

The pictures are good, but they look even better in person.  The Sonic Heimisphere guys are also very cool and I hope they (Moon Audio) will get a circle on this site.  They would make a great contribution to this site.  Lastly, don't let the metal tweets fool you.  They are very accurate and natural sounding.  These are speakers you can listen to for hours with ZERO fatigue.

I hope someone from AC buys these speakers or at least gives them an audition.  The quality is first rate and I'm shocked they are selling a pair for $2K.  This might be the best deal I have ever seen in the classified section.

Cheers,
Jack

I am out of town at a wedding, but will be back in Chicago Monday. Lemme think about potential trade bait, and hopefully we can figure out a time for a listen.

Hi Roscoe,
When you audition these speakers, make sure you bring some albums.  They have a really nice vinyl setup and high end system. The Sonic Hemisphere guys are super cool and I can't believe they are giving these speakers away so inexpensively.   This might be the best deal I have ever seen on the  ac trading post.   If I didn't recently drop a huge amount of cash on a new furnace and AC system and new hardwood floors, I would have bought these in a second.

Good luck,
Jack

Roscoe,
Please let me know when you are going to audition these speakers (if you are still planning), I'd like to join you.  The demo room and system they have are very nice.  It would be impossible to DIY these for less than the asking price.

Cheers,
Jack

Jack,

Actually we moved to a larger and nicer location not far from where you visited before.

Not sure what happened to Roscoe he started to set up something and then sorta left it alone now for a couple weeks.

Anyway, anytime you would like to come by let me know. The address is literally 2 mins from the last one you came to you can find it on the website.

This pair is a customers, we just took them back toward some smaller speakers for a multichannel setup.

 Undertow,
Sorry to disappear on you. Between travel and birthday just got too slammed. Then AC was down yesterday when I finally had a chance to get back to this.

Jack and I will find a time that works for us.

No problem.

Actually to be honest likely this upcoming weekend is the only one that nobody will be around for the rest of the year. However, during the week this week after 6 pm anytime, or the following weekend we could be there.

Thanks

roscoeiii

Still waiting to hear from jackman about a good time...

Hi Roscoe,
I'll call you tomorrow. Getting caught up on a work project this weekend. No fun but I've got to get it done today.

Thanks!

Sounds good Jack. We will get this figured out.

If I didn't just replace my home HVAC and spend a ton of money on new hardwood floors and painting, I'd get these in a second.  That price is insane and I hope they are still available.  The Sonic Hemisphere (Black Moon?) guys are very cool and very talented.  I hope they get a circle on this site because they offer a great value and I think they would fit in well with the AC group.  Can't wait to see their new facility.  The old one was very nice and their demo room was excellent.  Make sure you bring records when we go!

Cheers,
Jack

Hi guys,

Any luck figuring out a time to swing out and take a look?

Have not pushed any other avenues to move these yet, but probably going to have to let these go soon to an auction or other sale.

Let me know.

Thanks

roscoeiii

Still waiting to hear from Jack.

Jack, shoot me an e-mail or give me a ring. I lost my contacts in my phone so I don't have your number any more.

Calling right now.  Sorry for taking so long!
