excellent condition with one super minor almost invisible nick on the top back. This is absolutely the BEST DAC I have ever owned and the non decimating volume control works perfectly because it doesn't drop bits. It replaced a Mytek stereo 192 and PS Audio PWD MK II - it's much more natural sounding and works flawlessly. Its one of 2-3 DACS that will do DSD256 and also 32/384. I use a Win7 with a 3M USB cable and have never had any dropouts using a very inexpensive USB cable - I tried one that was 12X the cost and it made no difference - the DAC is pretty much immune from the PC USB or noise wise. I use it direct to my Carver 180 amps and the transparency is amazing! I tried 2 high end line stages and it sounds best direct to the amps. I bought this brand new in late May of this year.
