Strobocheap...

Hi all Audio Circle members.
Today I went to a small store called : {{ DUNG AUDIO }}
and I saw a stroboscopic disc at 7 USD.
At first, I was concerned that it would be calibrated only for 50Hz,
but looking closely, I saw printed on it : 50/60Hz,
plus, instead like many disc that are made of thin laminated carton,
this one is made of fairly thick rigid plastic.
At 7 US it's a steal, I have been looking on the internet and the cheapest one was 39 USD at Needle Doctor.
Find below a few pictures, so that you can see what it looks like, even if you already know what it looks like.
My two hobbies are audio and photo, so everytimes I have a chance,
I take pictures, because a picture is worth a thousand words.

My guess is that you need to go to Ho Chi Minh City.  :D

That is a cool device and a great deal, especially if the set up graphics on the reverse side are accurate.

I agree. AC needs to start a group buy Circle like they did with the Karma circle.

Hi all Audio Circle members,
Sorry for my late posting, my house Internet is down,
I am now using my store/showroom laptop.
I would be more than happy to help you guys.
Let me know how many you want and I will inquire to the store
and see how much for the postage (EMS - Express mail service with tracking)
or FedEx.
No need to say that I will pack them carefully like they were eggs.
For me, plastic or eggs are both very fragile in the hands of a FedEx guy.

Yes, they would be shipped from Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) Vietnam.

Hi Bob2 and Mister Pig.
In order to ship those from Vietnam to the US
with a reasonable shipping fee,
I would need to have an order for a total of ten (10) units.
I could then inquire at FedEx or UPS to see how much they would charge me.
In addition, the ten (10) units would have to be shipped to an
Audio Circle member location in the US and then,
he would have to re-shipped
them to each individual Audio Circle members.
I think this is the only way to keep the shipping cost low.
For now, I don't know any better way to handle this.
Mister Pig, I do not accept any for of payment other than
Western Union, which might make that purchase not so appealing.
Sorry about that.

There are a few Audio Circle members that are from Vietnamese origin,
maybe they could ask friend to bring some to the US ? ? ?
