Here is a very very late pair of InnerSound Eros 3.5 electrostatic speakers, among the last produced, with satin black finish and cherry wood rails. These speakers are in my experience (having owned SoundLabs and Martin Logans and Acoustats and Quads) exceptional at what electrostatic speakers do: quick, transparent, spookily natural sound. And they also have a moving coil transmission line bass with a remotely controllable active crossover/amp, with a very seamless transition to the lower octaves. Mine are in exceptionally good condition, with impeccable sonic performance, perfect panels and grills and rails, and an unblemished crossover amp (as pictured, with only a mild imprint of the rubber feet of the amplifier sitting on top of it). The only cosmetic imperfections are a nick in the paint in the lower left bottom edge of one of the speakers, and the usual little splits in the finish on the curved back cabinets (typical, alas, for these, although these are much less cracked than the gray ones I owned previously).

Included are some large spiked screw-in "tiptoe" feet, the original owners manual and programmed remote, and for a full-price offer I will also include the Behringer DCX2496 electronic crossover that Roger Sanders recommends for the last measure of transparency.

Specs from a Stereophile review follow:
Description: Hybrid electrostatic/moving-coil loudspeaker system with remote-control active crossover/bass amplifier module. Drive-units: 41" by 11.5" flat electrostatic midrange/HF transducer; transmission line-loaded, 10" fiber-cone woofer. Crossover frequency: 360Hz. Crossover filters: fourth-order (24dB/octave, Linkwitz-Reilly). Frequency response: 24Hz-27kHz, ±2dB. Sensitivity: 98dB/2.83V/m. Electrostatic impedance: 112 ohms at 500Hz, falling to 2 ohms at 20kHz. Woofer impedance: 4 ohms. Recommended panel amplifier power: 80-300W. Amplifier/crossover controls: Level, 100 1dB steps; Midrange, 100 1dB steps; Bass, 12 1dB steps below 100Hz. Amplifier output power: 600Wpc into 4 ohms (24.8dBW).
Dimensions: Speaker: 68" H by 15" W by 18" D. Weight: 75 lbs (34kg). Crossover-Bass Amplifier: 17" W by 5.5" H by 14" D. Weight: 42 lbs (19kg)

The original boxes are not suitable, really, for shipping, but I would build some crates at cost, that would permit freight shipping.  Local pick-up nearby Atlanta, GA is also an option.

Another bump for another price reduction (can you tell I'm motivated to find them a new home?).  I'm a new member here but a long-time Audiogon guy ("Markkunkel") with 500+ perfect feedback, so no worries....
