My new car, Lamborghini Murielago LP 640. Comes fully loaded with Customized Fast music, but I'll probably wait 'til Judas Priest releases their new album to complete the playlist. 8)

Nice, but I prefer being broke, happy and un-stressed with bills.

I know what you mean. :(

It didn't cost too much, but still rather expensive for just 8 GB's. :P

My new car, Lamborghini Murielago LP 640.

If you actually owned one you chances are you would know that it is a Murciélago, not a Murielago.  ;)

Anyway it's really cool for a jump drive. The headlights flash when I plug it into the BDP-1, looks neat in the dark.

There are other cars that I've seen, Porsche 911, Austin Mini, Volkswagon, Audio & Aston Martin. 8)

Best 1/4 mile for me on slicks was 11.23 sec.

That would be good the the 8 track cassette combo in the car

Awesome "meats"  :thumb:

One thing that I have noticed quite a lot with the new "make-overs" such as the Challenger, Camaro, etc... is that the body of the vehicle looks way too big for the stock factory tires that are installed on the car - it is really pronounced on the Challenger.

Be well...

Yea! I was behind some guy with a new challnger and it looked like you said. Never would have been like that back in the day. Used to run Mickey Ts back then... Do they still make those?

I noticed the same thing...see a "hot" looking car on the road and then look at the rear tires...design/marketing vs engineering/physics..."all show, no go"

It may not be fair comparing GM or Dodge to BMW - but this tire/body combination looks more in proportion.

Be well...

Part of the problem is that the Challenger shares the same platform as the Chrysler 300 and the tendency of late model car designs which push the tires out toward the perimeter of the vehicle.
The 1970 Challenger TA 340 SIX PAK below

As you can see the new Challenger's body is too thick, the distance from the bottom of the car's window to the door sill is out of proportion when compared to the original Challenger. The length of the new Challenger's hood past the wheel well opening is also shorter than the original Challenger. The rear deck also gives the appearance of being shorter in length than the 1970 Challenger.
The above changes between old and new cars still would not cause me to cross the new Challenger off of my short list.

Hi SHV and all Audio Circle members.
25 years ago I had a similar combo.
(Low profile wide body tires with mag wheel.)
With the Canadian spring pot holes, I ruined the combo,
it ended in the garbage, the oval mag wheel with distorted tires.
That was on my Pontiac STE.
After that standard profile 65tires, not 55.

Added two new cars to my collection, Audi R8 V10 & Porsche 911, neither are loaded yet. Thinking of powerful sounding music like Rob Zombie & Mettallica for the Audi and mellow music like Rush-Gold & Atomic Rooster for the Porsche.
