What is a record weight?
It is a product that is used to help records lay flat on your turntable.

Why do i need one?
If you have records that just won't sit flat, have issues with maintaing platter speed or have motor rumble.

How does a record weight work?
It adds pressure and weight to the record to help it lay flat, at the same time the platter creates more of a fly wheel effect from the added weight, which maintains platter speed much better than without a record weight. Also record weights dampen vibrations coming from the motor and outside sources.
