I've got an old Adcom 555II that started making a humming sound an I'm willing to bet it's just old power supply caps leaking.  Anybody recapping as a service?  Any idea how much it would cost?  Is it usually just the power supply or are other caps generally going to need to be done?  Thanks in advance for any help with this.  It has been a great amp servicing my subs and I'd hat to have to replace it if I don't need to.

Over the last couple of years I had my Adcom 535 amp and pre amp recapped by an Adcom repair place in New York state. He has since retired - cant locate him anymore. I had the same issue with the amp and now it sounds great. I have also dealt with Musical Design and would recommend them highly. They are excellent.
