You would likely pay as much as a new car from another DAC manufactures to own near the amount and quality level of circuitry hardware that’s inside of these three chassis’s and the case work is really audio jewelry.
When the full Bel Canto three piece system along with the auxiliary cable are fully employed, there are few competitors. Research the reviews and you find that even the non- MKII is competed well against second mortgage level DACs even with out the new Ref Link.

After reading my description you might surmise that I really like this DAC, yes I do. The sale of this Bel Canto front end has absolutely nothing to do with its performance, in fact it sounds fabulous. This DAC system is the best I’ve heard and will compete against many mega dollar front ends for refinement, and will easily exceed your expectations. I just stated using my computer as a music server in my system, which requires more space than I have available. So with my shelving crisis (see photo) something had to give, so to create space and get the computer off the floor I'm selling my Preamp, power amp and DAC and replace everything with single chassis component. What ever all in one single chassis I replace my system with, its unlikely I will have the refinement I’m accustom to, but shelf space rules right now.
I purchased this entire Bel Canto front end eleven month ago new from an authorized Bel Canto dealer and it has been in a smoke and pet free environment. It works perfectly (no unwelcome surprises) and I can not find any cosmetic flaws scratches or any blemishes hence the 9/10 rating.
